I am an award-winning French-English literary and commercial translator, translation research consultant and writer.

I received a joint PEN award in 2013 for my literary translation work and took third place in the 2021 Stephen Spender Prize for poetry translation. I am currently judging the 2022 Scott Moncrieff Prize for literary translation from the Society of Authors and Translators Association.

I also translate academic texts, thanks to over ten years working in academia.

My commercial translation work is informed by my background and qualifications in media and marketing, and I specialise in areas such as fashion, beauty, health, food, tourism and music.

Please explore my website to find out more about my translation work and writing experience, or get in touch if you would like to commission a translation or consultancy work.

I also have extensive teaching experience and am available for translation masterclasses and private tuition in French and translation. Please drop me a line if you have any queries.

I hope you enjoy browsing my site!
